2nd act was Christina & Ali. They sung “I Love You I Do” from Dreamgirls and start off on a platform with multi-level blocks on them. After the first verse they come towards the front of the stage and some dancers come out on stage and dance on said blocks. Well I can say that tonight is honestly the first time I think that Christina & Ali sound good and possibly deserve to be here.

3rd act, Jeremy Vanschoonhoven. Jeremy starts by jumping off a catwalk and lands on the stairs that came down the side of the stage. He then comes down to stage level and when he hops up onto a platform his front tire comes off the frame! Just when you think it’s a trick gone wrong he rides his bike like a unicycle and jumps across the more round platforms to the other side of the stage. He then switches out bikes with one of his “assistants” and proceeds to do a lot more tricks which include a 360 off the hood of a car, hops up three really tall platforms and then does another jump off the highest platform onto a bar and then onto the top of the car and yet another 360 off the hood of the car again. Howie said from the moment he started his heart was sunk into his stomach and that he was amazed at his act. Piers stated that you can guarantee that no one is a crowd pleaser like Jeremy does, and what Jeremy showed tonight is a correction of last week’s statement that he will not make it to the top four. Sharon said his timing was unbelievable, and that his confidence grows more and more every time we see him.

4th was Taylor Mathews. He sung “What a Wonderful World” with a three piece band, and three backup singers behind him. 5th act was The pre-teen dancers Anna & Patryk. They came out on stage wearing some mardi-gras type masks and immediately Anna slips down the stairs that they are coming down from the back of the stage. The performance was okay but I am not sure if Anna was hurt with the act or not.

On the second-half of the show, the 5th act was Fighting Gravity. They based the act with the moon landing. They have a ship slowly descending towards the stage, and then an “astronaut” suspended across the stage. 7th was Michael Grimm with a three piece brass band and three back-up singers, he is singing “Let’s Stay Together” by Al Green. 8th act was Michael Grasso with his magica that starts off by trapping a woman inside of a clear trunk and then pushes numerous swords through the trunk.

9th act was Prince Poppycock, sung the end part of the Star Spangled Banner. He then unwraps himself displaying a red & blue sparkly jacket and red & blue shorts then sings Yankee Doodle Dandee, and finishes the performance off with a chorus line singing Stars & Stripes Forever.  Jackie Evancho is again the final act of the evening. She is on stage with some white fabric hanging from the top of the stage and a lot of fog effects to make it appear as if she’s floating on a cloud. After the first verse some singers appear at the rear of the stage and sing with her during the chorus. It was a great touching performance from her.

I can definitely say that tonight’s acts were really better compared to last week.

If you can recall, U.S.C. itself was also been stripped of its 2004 Grantland Rice Award, given to it as the National Collegiate Football Champion, as members of the Trojans football program knew of Bush’s financial deal and did nothing to stop it rather tolerated it considering that they are aware of the guidelines of the award.

Now here is the hardest part of the sanction. USC Trojans is forced to lose its national championship due to U.S.C.’s having to forfeit its last two wins of the 2004 season (this also cost them to lose all its wins on the record books for the 2005 season), the N.C.A.A. sanctions against U.S.C. included stripping the school of 30 scholarships over three years and banning it from bowl games in 2010 and 2011. Furthermore, U.S.C. has been put on probation for four years.

In the event that Reggie Bush gets stripped of his 2005 Heisman Trophy which is annually awarded by New York’s Downtown Athletic Club to honor College Football Best Player of the year, this is going to be the first time in the 75-year history of the award body that a winner has had to forfeit the trophy. D.A.C. has not made their final and  formal decision yet but plans to do so by the end of September 2010.

If ever Bush receives the sanction, then all his 2005 awards will be in question. Even if we say that it past already but the award of 2005 Heisman Trophy was given that year and the violation of the policy happened prior to the awarding, so I believe even if we don’t want him to be sanctioned, it is still justice to be delivered according to what was agreed upon. Or the award giving body’s reputation will then be in question.

Desperate Housewives is set to be back on air for their 7th season with Vanessa Williams as Renee Perry joining the original characters of the series Marcia Cross (Bree Hodge), Teri Hatcher (Susan Mayer), Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis), and Felicity Huffman (Lynette Scavo).

Desperate Housewives 7th season returns on Sept. 26, 2010 at 9pm on ABC. This time, Bree is destined to find love with a hot handyman played by Brian Austin Green a “Beverly Hills 90210″ star. Also, one of the biggest question in this season is which babies were involved in Fairview Memorial Hospital’s baby switcheroo?…Well the answer will be in the first 10 minutes of the premiere.

Meanwhile, another TV comeback hit is the Grey’s Anatomy, scheduled to return on ABC on Sept. 23, 2010 Thursday @ 9pm. Although the regulars of the show have been healed physically from the jaw-dropping massacre last season, still they are carrying the scars of the tragic event and the memories of their fallen friends. But life must go on and in this season, rumors spreading that Cristina and Owen are planning of getting married!

The Holloway family attorney, John Q. Kelly says that Van der Sloot is a fraud and that he is an attention seeking person and will go to any lengths to get attention. He also said that Van der Sloot promised to reveal the location of Natalee Holloway’s body in return for payment. But the Holloway family knew he was trying to commit wire fraud. Van der Sloot faces charges in Birmingham for wire fraud and extortion, but his extradition is pending as he faces a murder charge in Peru for the murder of 21 year old Stephany Flores.

The BSU Broncos of Boise State showed off every angles of what they are capable on their games to come. They completely dominated the opening quarter with a suffocating defense that brought Virginia Tech 0 at the end of tat first quarter. BSU Broncos showed off their special teams prowess, and they put their explosive offense on display in the final two minutes that decided the outcome of the game. They were brilliant at various points throughout the game.

No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide had the luxury of playing San Jose State in their season opener which easily gives them a good start. Even with them missing their Heisman winner Mark Ingram, they absolutely outplayed San Jose State in a 48-3 rout.

No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes, led by dual threat quarterback Terrelle Pryor, conquered the Marshall Thundering Herd 45-7 in their game. However, the Buckeyes first true test will come next weekend against Miami (FL) Hurricanes.

No. 3 Boise State University Broncos led by Kellen Moore, one of the preseason Heisman candidates and strong contender, the Broncos showed remarkable resiliency in their hard-fought come from behind victory over the Hokies of Virginia Tech.

No. 4 Texas Longhorns still strongly contends the top slots even if they are playing without Colt McCoy for the first time in four years. The Texas Longhorns offense stumbled on its way to a 34-17 victory against Rice, failing to score in the first quarter but still managed to win it.

No. 5 Florida Gators were expected to hit the top spot and although they beat Miami (Ohio) 34-12 in the first game of the John Brantley era, the Gators showed an awful excutions. They couldn’t even master the quarterback-center exchange and would have lost the game if they were playing any school in the SEC, Luckily they didn’t.
