Rockets Hit Afghan Market, Causing 12 Civilians Died

Rockets hit an Afghan market located in the northeastern region of Kabul. As a result, 12 people have died. The rockets were aiming to kill the France’s top general in Afghanistan and the tribal elders and seniors local officials but did not succeed.

In addition, 38 people are injured and 20 of them suffer from critical injuries. The rockets hit the market during the bazaar day on Monday when it is crowded with people.

Brig, Gen. Marcel Druart told the Associated Press that the meeting called shura continued and ignored the rockets attack because Taliban cannot interrupt with NATO’s plans when both sides are fighting for influence.
