Miss USA 2010: Rima Fakih Crowned as Miss USA 2010! – The 24 year old Lebanese immigrant Rima Fakih, beat out 50 other women last May 16, 2010 for the Miss USA 2010. Rima Fakih was the Miss Michigan before joining the pageant and despite of nearly trembling her gown she walked away with the crown and title of the Miss USA 2010.

Rima is also a Arab-American girl which made her be different among other contestants. During the interview portion Fakih was asked about the birth control, if she believe that birth control must be paid off by insurance.

She said: “I believe that birth control is just like every other medication even though it’s a controlled substance”. After she told her answer the huge crowed were amazed on her.

The live telecast of Miss USA 2010 was on NBC. When the first runner-up, Miss Oklahoma USA Morgan Elizabeth Woolard was announced Rima already knew that she has a big chance of getting the crown.
