Have you heard that facebook administrator removed the facebook fan page of the Palestinian prime minister Ismail Haniyeh?

According to the news that the reason why facebook’s administrators had removed the fan page for Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh, because of the “delivering of severe blow to freedom of expression in the process”.

As we know that facebook is a social networking site wherein people gather and meet with their old friends but it is also the place for political rally, campaign, etc.

Haniyeh had already around 10,000 members on his fan page when the page was shut down.

The following is quoted in one of the blog about this issue:

“Al-Hayat have claimed that Facebook’s administrators were fulfilling a request from Israeli and U.S. lobbyists to remove the pages supporting Palestinian resistance movements, although such reports are unconfirmed and many Hamas related groups remain online.” To read more of this detail, CLICK HERE.
