Be proud to be a Filipino:
A Filipino-American is proud to be a Filipino by showing his big Philippine flag tattoo on his chest as he plays in the 1500m Short-Track where he won the Bronze Medal in Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.
J.R. was born in Monterey, California by his father, Robert (Polish) and his mother, Sue (Filipino). His father is an active US army who is currently in service. JR was raised in Washington. He got two older brothers who are both officers in the US army. He attended school at Lakewood High School in Lakewood, California graduating with high honors in the Merit Scholars Program. He will be attending at the University of California for his college degree.
