KFC is getting lots of negative feedback about an ad that had turned out to be racist.
The ad shows a crowd of black people watching a cricket match and making a lot of noise in a jovial mood. Suddenly, a white man that was distressed by the crowd that surrounds him appeared.
The white man says, “He then says, “Need a tip when you’re stuck in an awkward situation?” To make the festive crowd shut up, he took out a bucket of KFC chicken.
The representative at KFC Australia told a local newspaper that it is a light hearted show in reference to the West Indian Cricket team. The ad was published on the internet in the United States without getting permission from KFC. He also apologized for any cultural discrimination that are represented in the ad because the ad was not created purposely to discriminate the black people.
